I am a filmmaker and photographer with a background in choreography, working with the aim of creating engaging quality images of movement and dance.
As well as being the art of movement, dancing is a way of making creative transitions between separate events. By blending the traditions of photography, choreography and cinema, a hybrid design appears. They are brought together as one unified expression, fused together in the final creation of art, whether it be a still image, a film or a staged dance.
Every person finds their own unique sense of the world by moving and exploring through it. By moving the body we gain new perspectives and learn to create change. Photographing dance is visualising change.
